Typical parrot, give it a perch and it will stand stand on the metal frame. lol

jasper is just the same lol. he prefers everything but a perch to stand on,doors,door handles,tops of doors,window handles - yes he will squeeze himself onto a window handle

the first was just after new year and here he is with my niece,i'm hoping they'll be best friends

thankyou,i am quite proud of him these are two of my favourite photos,i was so proud that he actually sat on her arm long enough to get a photo

Thankfully Kara has settled down again after her two days of craziness!

Two of our Macaws watched Ebony the black labrodor pup jump into Harley and Majors cage so Harley and Jo jo climed down and shut the door on her
I will need to post the video I took of them

poor ebony,fancy being shut in a cage. maybe she fancied being a parrot for a while

She decided she didn't like the cage anymore so was throwing herself about in it and then having a sulk on the floor of it! We have gone back to work now so she is getting into a good routine :-)

oh dear i'm sure she will soon get used to having to be in there. jasper used to be a little devil at not going back in (sometimes he still is) he'd much rather be out on his rope in the window or sitting on a door

Hi Jules she seems to have got over it for the time being anyway. Today she has discovered the pleasures of ripping up newspapers! Her appetite is also growing every day which is good. Hope Jasper is well...

I think they are all the same, they just don't like being missed out and love to be part of the conversation and don't see why they should be in their cage when everyone else is sitting watching the tv

Oh yes! shredding is something else they are very good at

jasper is well thanks. most parrots love to shred stuff. i save jasper the envelopes that come with bills and stuff,i remove the sticky bit with gum on. it's quite funny because he'll snip all the way around one and then looks for another

jasper is out of his cage all the time when i'm at home,it's just when i have to go out,otherwise he'd be up to all kinds of mischief

When you asked is it easy to train him, I didn't think you meant, like a housemaid...... ha ha ha
