| Having spent years wanting a parrot I finally took the plunge and purchased a baby Meyers last week - after all life is too short! I am really grateful for the help and advice given to me by Bob, Diane and team. So far so good, Pidge seems to be settling in well and is already stepping up and coming out/in of his cage really easily. If anyone can offer any help/advice/tips on handling a parrot of this type, I would love to hear from you. Thanks. Sheron. | |

| hi sheron & pidge,welcome to the forum. i must say i love the name pidge  are meyers a smaller parrot? i have a grey so not sure if a meyers is smaller than a grey. seeing as he's a baby and already stepping up,i think you're doing quite well with pidge. if you do get a nip or two,try not to react,he will be just testing things with his beak | |
