it is quite a long one so here goes
2 cloves of fresh garlic,crushed or minced
1tsp each of,ground cumin,turmeric,coriander,chilli powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 400g organic chickpeas
1/2 cup organic brown rice
1/2 red pepper chopped
1/2 turnip chopped
1 carrot chopped
1 cup frozen sweetcorn
1 pint water
1 tbsp dried coriander
1 cup of organic raisins or sultanas
(spices can be adjusted to suite own taste)
1/2 cup fresh coriander (optional)
Method
add all ingrediants to a pan apart from fresh coriander,bring to the boil then simmer stirring occasionally until the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked. add more water if required. add fresh coriander (optional),cool and serve
this can be frozen
